The whole school wore a festive look as the students were busy in one or the other activity. The children of Pre primary wing made Diyas with colour wash and decorated them. Students of primary wing decorated candles and made paper lamps. The students of senior wing had a Rangoli making competition. The whole school was declared for the festival of lights and the school principal Ms.Neetu Arora wishing the teachers, students and their families a happy, prosperous and a safe Diwali.

Visit to orphanage
In one of the efforts to celebrate festivals with all the section of the society and inculcating the sense of social integrity the children of class IV-V of St. Teresa Convent School Sector -25Panchkula, went to orphanage in Sec-12-A pkl. Student brought clothes, toys&shoes to the distributed among those children .It was a heart renders moment .The school managements & staff also came forward and donated fruits, sweets, chocolates and stationary School Principal Ms,Neetu Arora send their in order to keep the values enlightened the children must be pushed to volunteer for such causes and see the realities and hardships of such lives they grow up as good citizen and must always lend a helping hand to secure the society as a whole.

Activities make a child self reliant and help in polishing various skills and bring out the hidden talents. The School emphasizes on activity based learning.Various activities were conducted at St. Teresa Convent School Sec-25,Panchkula for the children of classes P.G-III.
Visit to a Market
Children of classes P.G and Montessori –I were taken to a near by market to make the concept of market clear to them .They were told about the different types of shops, big shops, small shops and what all things make a market. This activity was very informative and the children enjoyed a lot.

germination-Paper reading-mock election
Germination:-
Germination activity based on the chapter How a plant grows’ was done in class-II .The children bought baby planters and planted gram seeds. They were explained about the whole process. The plant is kept in the class and will be watered by the children everyday so that they see their seed grow into a plant.
Paper reading contest:-
Paper reading contest was held for children of class IV. The children were asked to read out a paragraph of their choice and they were awarded marks for pronunciation body language, Voice modulation. This activity also helped in identifying good orators along with overcoming the stage fear.
Mock election:-
In another activity for classes VI-VIII election process was demonstrated to students of classes VI-VIII. It was Fun cum Learn experience for these children. . The classes were divided into different wards and representatives were chosen who would stand for election .Representative campaigned with their followers and also requested the children to vote for their party symbol. Polling booth with electronic voting was designed and children of different classes voted for their candidate .The whole process of how election takes place was clear to the children as they themselves went through this process. Principal Ms. Neetu Arora applauded the efforts of staff and students and said that transforming theory into practical helps in making the whole teaching and learning process simple and interesting.
Visit to Traffic Park
An educational visit to Traffic park Sec-12,Panchkula was organized for the children of Montessori II of St. Teresa Convent School,Sec-25,Panchkula. These types off excursions are a part of school curricular as the school believes in teaching beyond the class room such exposures widen the horizon of teaching and learning.
Dussehra Celebration
Celebrating all festivals with equal joy and involvement in an integral part of the School.
The students and staff of St. Teresa Convent School,Sec-25 Panchkula celebrated Dushera in the school ground. The school wore a festive look and the children were excited to celebrate the festival. A huge effigy of ‘Ravana was made by the students and teachers. The whole school gathered in the assembly ground where the effigy of Ravana stood still Before burning the effigy,the children were told about the importance of this festival and why; it is celebrated by telling them briefly about the ‘Victory of good over Evil.’ They were also told that this festival marks the end of navratris.School principal Ms.Neetu Arora addressed the students and told them to equip themselves with values and customs and groom their personalities in all aspects so that a good human being reflects in their character. Children of classes P.G to M-III were given beautiful and glittery swords, Bows and replicas of Ravana.
Pot Making Activity
It was a happening day at St Teresa Convent School Sec 25 Panchkula as various activities and outings were organized for children of classes PG – 5. Class PG & M – I went to the traffic park, to make the children aware of modern shopping, visit to a Mall was organized for class 1st. Self help activities were taught to students of class 2. A potter was called to the school and it was very learning experience for the students to see how pots are made on a potter’s wheel. The children tried their hand at the potter’s wheel and carved beautiful pots. The children of M-III very enthusiastically participated in the Quiz on the animals one of the activities of the school calendar. Such activities and excursions are a part of school curriculum and are organized frequently to widen the horizon of schooling.

Grand Parents Day
The concept of how a letter travels was taught to the children of Montessori through an outing to the Post Office at St Teresa Convent School. Sector 25. Panchkula. As the Grandparents Day is approaching the children made cards for their grandparents and posted them. Children of play way and Nursery made book marks and wall hanging for their grandparents.

Basket Ball Match Staff Vs Students
To celebrate Internal Sport Day, staff Vs student’s basket ball match was played in St. Teresa Convent School Sect.25 Panchkula. During the last two periods the whole school was out in the playground filled with excitement to see the match. It was fun filled moment for students as well the staff. Ms. Neetu Arora said that this type of activities strengthen the teacher pupil relationship. The match was won by the staff.

World Heritage Day
WORLD HERITAGE DAY
St.Teresa Convent School, Sector-25Panchkula Celebrated Word heritage Day in school premises. On this day all the students from class IV to VIII participated in different competitions like, drawing, painting and debate. The theme of all the competitions was preserving and protecting one’s heritage. All the students participated enthusiastically and made this day a wonderful day by their excellence efforts.

St. Teresa convent school has celebrated World Environment Day in the school premises. All the classes I to VIII participated in it. Different activities were held during this celebration like poster making, environment free bag making, slogan writing, paper reading and quiz program. Students showed their different skills in different activities enthusiastically. A pledge was also taken regarding ‘Save Environment’ by the students as well as the teachers.

SQAY Martial Art Semi final
SUB JUNIOR SQAY MARTIAL ARTS CONTEST AT ST. TERESA CONVENT SCHOOL.SECTOR-25 PANCHKULA
Tri-city Sub junior SQAY Martial Arts Contest organized by SQAY Association of Haryana at St. Teresa Convent School Sector 25, Panchkula on Monday. The contest began with scintillating opening ceremony. Number of children participated in the first phase of selection which was conducted here in the school campus. Winners were awarded with the certificate and medals by IQAY Association of Haryana/Chandigarh/Mohali and were chosen to play for second phase which is scheduled to be held in the month of May in Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3 Panchkula. The school provides innumerous sports facilities for the all round development of a child in co-scholastic areas.

Annual Sports Meet
Annual Sports Meet
St.Teresa Convent School,Sector-25 Panchkula,Celebrated their Annual Sport meet in the school premises.The event began with the lightening of lamp by the chief guest Mr.Om Prakash Gujjar,Chairman,Gujjar Kalyan Parishad,haryana accompanied by the chairman and director of the school. A number of events like sack race,frog race,dress up race,lemon and spoon race and shuttle race were organized.The martial arts demonstrated by the karate group was spectacular. Children also won accolades of cheer and applause as they executed body movement and postures in Aerobics and yoga. Director congratulated and appreciated the great effort done by the sports teacher and members for making it a wonderful show.

St. Teresa Convent school, Sector -25 Pkl, organized a trip to ‘Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sec-2, pkl’for the kindergarten section. The motive was to introduce them to a new place; they were also made to play with ‘Bat and ball’. Kids enjoyed a lot and also had a picnic in the adjoining ground of stadium.

Visit To Thunder Zone
Excursion Program
ST. Teresa Convent School, Sec 25, PKL organised excursion program of classes Ist to VIIIth to Thunder Zone Amusement Park (Mohali).Students enjoyed water games and different types of rides.The artificial but so natural looking water fall make the students jumps with joy.There were merry go rounds which were whirling and twirling in the air.Students enjoyed riding high and low.Some students also did boating. Refreshment was also provided to students.It was educative and instructive program.It was a delightful experience for students and teachers too.

Haryana Day Celebration
World Animal’s Day
Today Montessori Section of ‘St. Teresa Convent School, Sec-25 Pkl’ Celebrated World Animal’s Day in the School auditorium. Little kids dressed up as different animals like Lion, Monkey, Cat, Zebra, and Elephant etc. These youngsters enjoyed enacting the various animals, especially Lion and Elephant. Sound of various animals filled the air creating jungle like atmosphere/ environment. Different concept such as animal kingdom and conservation of wildlife were introduced.
Dussehra Celebration
DUSSHERA CELEBRATION
St. Teresa Convent School, Sec 25, Pkl Celebrated Dusshera festival in the school premises. The students played different characters of Lord Rama, Laxmana, Hanuman, Ravan,ect and later the effigy of Ravana was burnt. The principal of the school delivered a short speech in which he told the students about the importance of truth and also told them how there was victory of truth over evil. The students and teachers enjoyed every bit of it. There was lot of excitement among students.
