children day celebration


To make the day special for children, teachers of St.Teresa Convent School ,Sec-25 Panchkula put up a cultural program. They enacted as children and presented a skit on classroom .As it was also World Diabetes Day so the children were told about the disease and its side effects. They were told to follow a healthy diet schedule and exercise daily so as to stay fit and healthy. Children were also informed that this disease is not only the result of eating sweets but depends upon what life style we follow. School Principal Ms.Neetu Arora wished the children during assembly.

The whole school wore a festive look as the students were busy in one or the other activity. The children of Pre primary wing made Diyas with colour wash and decorated them. Students of primary wing decorated candles and made paper lamps. The students of senior wing had a Rangoli making competition. The whole school was declared for the festival of lights and the school principal Ms.Neetu Arora wishing the teachers, students and their families a happy, prosperous and a safe Diwali.



Dussehra Celebration


Celebrating all festivals with equal joy and involvement in an integral part of the School.

The students and staff of St. Teresa Convent School,Sec-25 Panchkula celebrated Dushera in the school ground. The school wore a festive look and the children were excited to celebrate the festival. A huge effigy of ‘Ravana was made by the students and teachers. The whole school gathered in the assembly ground where the effigy of Ravana stood still Before burning the effigy,the children were told about the importance of this festival and why; it is celebrated by telling them briefly about the ‘Victory of good over Evil.’ They were also told that this festival marks the end of navratris.School principal Ms.Neetu Arora addressed the students and told them to equip themselves with values and customs and groom their personalities in all aspects so that a good human being reflects in their character. Children of classes P.G to M-III were given beautiful and glittery swords, Bows and replicas of Ravana.

Janamashtmi Celebration



We have Celebrated janamashtmi celebration in our school campus.Children of Pre-Primary wing came dressed up as Krishna, Radha ,sudhmaetc.and were told about the truth of lord Krishna .Children of all classes came and swings Lord Krishna and were told about the life.In the end children were given Parshad.Parents and Grand Parents to be part of this celebration.

Christmas Celebration


Christmas was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by children of St.Teresa Convent School Sector-25 Panchkula on this festive occasion children were dressed up as Saint Joseph, Mother Mary and Santa Claus.Christmas tree was decorated and sweets were distributed to the children by Santa Claus. Several competition like Card Making,Candle Decoration and carol Singing were held for the students of all the classes. The festival brought fun and gaiety amongst the children and the symbolic significance of the festival was told to them.

Diwali Celebration


Diwali

Students of St. Teresa Convent School, Sec-5Panchkula.enthusastically participated in several competitions held. There in the school on the eve of Diwali. Students of classes V to VIII participate in Rangoli making competition and made colorful rangolies. Class decoration competition was held for all classes in which best class was awarded. Students of Kindergarten decorated Diyas and were also enlightened on the purpose of celebrating Diwali Children were guided to take precautionary measures while bursting crackers to have Diwali

Haryana Day Celebration


World Animal’s Day

Today Montessori Section of ‘St. Teresa Convent School, Sec-25 Pkl’ Celebrated World Animal’s Day in the School auditorium. Little kids dressed up as different animals like Lion, Monkey, Cat, Zebra, and Elephant etc. These youngsters enjoyed enacting the various animals, especially Lion and Elephant. Sound of various animals filled the air creating jungle like atmosphere/ environment. Different concept such as animal kingdom and conservation of wildlife were introduced.

Dussehra Celebration


DUSSHERA CELEBRATION

St. Teresa Convent School, Sec 25, Pkl Celebrated Dusshera festival in the school premises. The students played different characters of Lord Rama, Laxmana, Hanuman, Ravan,ect and later the effigy of Ravana was burnt. The principal of the school delivered a short speech in which he told the students about the importance of truth and also told them how there was victory of truth over evil. The students and teachers enjoyed every bit of it. There was lot of excitement among students.

Teej Celebration




Mehndi Competition

ST. Teresa Convent School, Sec 25, PKL organized a Mehndi Competition on the occasion of Teej. Students of classes V to VIII participated in it. They made different and beautiful designs and patterns. They applied Mehndi on the hands of their teachers and classmates. Students participated in it with full enthusiasm. Pratiksha and Kanak of Class V, Tanya of class VI, Diksha of class VII, Dimple and Vimmi of class VIII got the first prizes.

Janmastmi Celebration


St. Teresa Convent School, Sec 25, Pkl Celebrated Janamashtmi in Hanuman Mandir Sec 25. Students of Senior Classes Performed Dance on various songs and fancy dress competition was held in Montessori classes M- I to M-III Students participated actively and showed their talents.
